MLT Group creates its new commercialization entity

03/04/2021

MLT Minet Lacing Technology continues its expansion with a new dimension through the creation of its new commercialization entity: MLT Group – Conveyor Solutions Expert.

As of April 3rd, 2021, the MLT Group is changing its organization by offering all the products manufactured in its factories through a unique commercialization company.
The latest events within the MLT company are signals of growth and dynamism of its expansion: 3 openings of subsidiaries abroad since 2018, the signature of a partnership agreement for North America in early 2021 with the American group FLEXCO, the acquisition of the Belgian company TechnicGum on March 29th, 2021, the opening of a 3rd manufacturing plant in France in the 1st half of 2021.

The MLT Group continues and announces today the creation of its new commercialization entity: MLT Group – Conveyor Solutions Expert

A deliberate international name in line with its development ambitions.
MLT Minet Lacing Technology remains the manufacturing entity for MLT's historical products.
The company TechnicGum is part of this scheme by becoming the manufacturing entity for conveyor equipment products.
It is therefore quite naturally that MLT Group - Conveyor Solutions Expert becomes the commercialization entity for all the products manufactured by the group's factories.

The reorganization of the group structure allows MLT to follow its ambition to become the world' s reference in the improvement of belt conveyors performance, thus offering a complete solution to the market players.

Over 70 years of expertise, established throughout the world

The company, founded in 1947, designs and manufactures products to splice and repair conveyor belts. In 2017, two of its directors, Frédéric Guillemet and Patrick Véricel, bought 100% of the MLT Group.
Its four production factories are located in France and in Belgium and each has its own field of expertise:

  • The Saint-Privat-des-Vieux (30) factory is specialized in the manufacture of mechanical fasteners, IFS flexible splices and installation tools.
  • The factory in Saint-Chamond (42), where the company is headquartered, is specialized in the manufacture of flexible splices and technical belts.
  • The Stelytec Saint-Chamond (42) factory is specialized in the manufacture of round-balers, the realization of vulcanizing presses, the manufacture and the business of vulcanizing tools. It is also the logistics hub for all the group's factories.
  • Finally, the TechnicGum Polymers plant in Neufvilles, Belgium, designs, manufactures and markets accessories for belt conveyors: belt cleaners, belt trackers, spillage control, screening media and PU technical parts...

MLT generates 92% of its sales from exports, in more than 120 countries around the world and also has seven distribution subsidiaries: Spain, Germany, Peru, South Africa, Australian Morocco and Bulgaria.
